Euphoria for Singapore!

Why? Because my country's female table tennis team has successfully secured a place (at least a silver) in the 2008 Olympics Finals. That means it will be an end to the 48 year old medal-drought for Singapore! The last one was clinched by a weightlifter, it was a silver, in 1960 Rome Olympics. We have waited long enough and it's time to see the Singapore Flag being unfurled, hung up and raised up far and high for the global audience to behold. Fucking awesome. Hopefully, they would play the National Anthem for the second place. Then it will be doubly fucking awesome. Majulah Singapura! Onward Singapore!

I was watching the semi-finals today at work after lunch (with the year 3 people) when there was no patients. It was intense and there was not one trace of work in my mind at all. Haha.

Let's forget for this present moment that the table tennis team is a China-imported one. Be positive! =)

Ok, enough of cheesy patriotic stuff.

First week out of the four of hospital attachment is over, and my left vastus lateralis muscle of the quadriceps group of the anterior thigh muscles is aching rather badly due to the excessive standing at work. I literally had to stand throughout the whole 7 hours of work daily, that makes up to 35 hours of standing in the span of the weekdays, which also translates to 126 000 seconds. That's a whooping one thirdth amount of the total time in 5 days. That's quite impressive, haha.

You must be sick of reading lines full of arithmetics conjurations.

And, I am sick of typing things into this rectangular box with a scroller when I can go watch some entertaining videos on Youtube *Mighty Boosh*. Ta ta!
